The city of Liverpool hosted the UK’s largest plus size fashion event, the Curve Fashion Festival, last weekend. High street brands like Yours Clothing, River Island, Simply Be, Navabi, Boohoo, New Look, Marks and Spencer, Anna Scholz, @Studio 8 by Phase 8, Elvi and Very showcased their latest collections.
The latest retailer to join the plus size fashion revolution was eBay, who launched their new Curve Fashion Hub at the event, with the help of campaign faces Tess Holliday, Callie Thorpe and Bishamber Das. For more about eBay Curve click HERE.
It also attracted foreign brands like a mother and daughter; Karin and Lisa Nilsson who travelled all the way from Sweden to promote their brand; Emmy Designs. Lisa says: “It’s a really important event for all the curvy girls out there! Our designs look better on the curvier woman, and it’s important to show what women actually look like.”
