Today’s plus size wedding feature is one for the books! Dionisa and David chose a mixture of blush and gold accents to kick off their new life together. I think those colors did such a great job making their industrial space seem soft and inviting. And as an added bonus the bride herself did all the stationery. She is an event stationery designer and from the looks of things her work is simply fabulous! This couple is such a dynamic couple, the bride does stationery and the groom is a local DJ. And of course they got my heart with their two children being included in their sand pouring ceremony. Check it all out for yourself.
How the story of how they met:
David was my a friend of my sister. I knew his as DJ Big Dave. He saw me one day and told her he just had to meet me! We starting hanging out that summer and have been together ever since!
Here’s how their engagement went:
We had been together for a while and were expecting our second child when David proposed. We knew we were going to spend the rest of our lives together and even picked out the ring together. But because I was so impatient, David decided to be a prankster! He would tell me every day it was going to happen then on September 19, 2009, he hid the ring in the medicine cabinet! He told me to get him something from the cabinet and there it was! He then asked me and of course I said yes after fussing a little!
