Titled #Aboutthatcurvylife Collective, the runway show will feature five contemporary plus fashion brands consisting of four womenswear lines and one menswear line. The brands to be featured are Tosfa by Tobi Ogundipe, Aishaabubakar by Aisha Abubakar Achonu, Makioba by Makioba Olugbile, Assian by Matiu Gordon and Mabello Clotheir by Osa Essien as the designer. After her formal education in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and The Fashion Academy, Abuja, she began her fashion venture in 2010. In her words” I had always known I had a flair because I understood style and textures at a very tender age and used to fall out with my tailors regularly because nothing they did really satisfied me to my heart’s content”
Aisha Abu-Bakr luxury design targets women between the ages 18 and 40 to bring a luxurious feel to both native and even casual wears with luxurious designs that are authentic to the brand’s identity.
