American Actress, Gwyneth Paltrow Makes Money Moves in Plus Fashion
Without a doubt the plus size industry is growing daily as more brands are beginning to pay attention and include plus sizes into their production and designs. As plus size women all over the world are beginning to embrace their bodies and become more interested in fashion, the demand for plus size apparel and fashion items are on the increase. One of the people who has taken note of this fact and recognised the opportunity is American actress, singer and food writer Gwyneth Paltrow.
Gwyneth Paltrow along side other investors recently made some positive money moves to fund plus size brand, Universal Standard with $7 Million. The brand which came into existence in 2016 creates beautiful, top quality, fashion forward essentials for women ranging up to size 32. The brand launched an exchange policy called “Universal Fit Liberty” which allows customers to trade in different-size clothes as their bodies change thereby creating clothes that will erase all style barriers among women of different sizes.
The brand offers a range of options from casual pieces to active-wear as well as formal clothes. Universal Standard has featured several plus size models like Danielle Brookes, Sabina Karlsson and Clémentine Desseaux in different campaigns for various collections.
