Curvy Ghanaian Actress, Lydia Forson Stuns at The “Side Chic Gang” Premiere

Lydia Forson stepped out over the weekend to the premiere of the highly anticipated movie ‘Side Chic Gang’ produced by award winning Director, Peter Sedufai. The talented and curvaceous actress was a sight for sore eyes at the Silverbird Cinemas – Accra Mall and West Hills Mall, Ghana. She wore a sexy custom made red jumpsuit by Ghanaian Designer Pistis Gh and had her natural hair styled by Abiba Locks into a smooth chignon. Makeup was by Chelsy Blacq who gave the actress a natural look with a slight smokey eye finished off with a pop of red lipstick.

It’s not the first time the curvy actress has been in the fashion spotlight. Remember when she walked for the ATCLCollective wearing Abaya Lagos on the runway of Glitz Africa Fashion Week?

The movie which stars Lydia Forson, Nana Ama Brown, Adjety Anang, Osei Sika and more, Side Chic Gang is about three female friends who found out they can make fortunes from exposing cheating husbands and boyfriends after unexpectedly making tons of cash from reporting a cheating husband to the wife.
They quit their ushering job to set up “Side chic Gang” – an agency solely dedicated to clamping down the side chick menace making their services available only to women. The Side chic Gang’s biggest deal is yet to hit them. It comes from a filthy rich man who suspects his fiancee is cheating on him. He is aware the gang does not serve men, but, he is willing to pay anything it costs to justify his suspicion.
The gang takes on the task knowing what this means for their bank account. Their greatest opposition, however, is the many aggrieved men who benefit from the services of side chicks, and would do anything to ensure they fail.

While many were excited about the new movie, in a bizarre twist, a group of women who referred to themselves as the ” Side Chicks Association of Ghana” threatened to hold a demonstration against the release of the movie as well as stating their dissatisfaction with the movie and its producer. The President of the Association (name withheld) said that “Side chicks are necessary in sustaining every successful relationship. Therefore, making a movie that is likely to fuel dislike for them is a great worry”.
