Popular Clothing Brand Tenders Apology to The Plus Size Community For Being Too Late to The Curvy Party
Celebrity clothing brand, Reformation has come out to apologize to plus size women and the curvy community as a whole for taking long to get in the size inclusivity groove. The Los Angeles based brand which is quite popular among lots of celebrities like Taylor Swift, Karlie Kloss and many others recently announced its plan to launch a new plus-size collection.
After the massive request for more size inclusive clothing from the public, the brand decided to collaborate with plus-size model, yoga instructor and animal right activist Ali Tate Cutler. They created an eponymous new line called The Reformation x Ali Tate Cutler Collection and subsequently apologised for lagging behind in plus size apparel productions saying “We agree it’s unfair … we’re super sorry we didn’t do it sooner” .
The clothing from their new plus collection with go up to size 22 and would include bodysuits, off-the-shoulder gingham dresses, two-piece sets, ruffled tops and so much more.
Founder and CEO of Rerformation, Yael Aflalo says “This is our first step towards fully launching into the category and we will continue to fine tune our fit as we get feedback from our customers,”
