Ashley Graham is one plus size super model you never get tired of seeing on the red carpet and why not, the poses she strikes, her outfits and overall glam are always something to look forward to. The just concluded annual MET Gala which took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City, New York, saw a good number of America’s finest grace the red carpet and ultimately attend the ball.
The event is an annual fundraising gala which is organised for the benefit and sustenance of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City. It marks the grand opening of the Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibit. Every year since 1971, there is a new theme set up as they celebrate the costume institute exhibition, and guests are expected to choose their fashion to match the theme of the exhibit.
This year was no different as Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination theme was created and the likes of the Kardashian clan, Mary J Blige, Zendeya, Rihanna, Cardi B, Katy Perry, Migos, Madonna, Blake Lively, Nicki Minaj, as well as so many other talented entertainers rolled up in their best attires hoping to steal the show.
Of course plus size super model Ashley graham was a show stopper herself as she walked the red carpet in the Atelier Prabal Gurung antique paz, hand embroidered, armoured, sequin strapless column gown with satin-edged wateau cape. This was paired with the Tasaki yellow gold Aurora ring, diamond accent and Akoya pearl, coupled with the Tasaki Atelier yellow gold ear cuff with pearl detailing, the Tasaki elegance yellow gold finished with the South Sea pearl baroque earring with diamond accent.
Ashley certainly came to shine and did just that as she began striking her poses right from the dresser room, the elevator, the hallway and onto the red carpet. Here’s all the shades of Ashley Graham you probably never saw in one night.
